Prize draw terms and conditions

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms govern the Thelerine AI early-access draw. They are published in terms of section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, and are available free of charge on this page and on request.

  1. Promoter. The promoter is Mafatshe System Solutions, contactable at [email protected].
  2. Free entry. Entry is free. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or to claim a prize.
  3. Who can enter. Natural persons aged 18 or older who live in South Africa. The directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of the promoter, anyone directly involved in running the draw, and their spouses, life partners, business partners and immediate family members may not enter.
  4. How to enter. Submit the request early access form on thelerine.ai during the entry period. Every eligible request is entered automatically. There is one entry per person: if someone enters more than once, for example by submitting again or under several email addresses, only one of their entries goes into the draw.
  5. Entry period. Entries open on 1 October 2026 and close on 1 November 2026 at 23:59 (SAST). Requests received after the close are still recorded for early access, but are not entered in the draw.
  6. Prizes. There are two prizes, each an electronic R500 Takealot voucher. A prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers are subject to Takealot's own voucher terms. Takealot is not a sponsor of, or otherwise involved in, this draw.
  7. The draw. The winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries by 8 November 2026, overseen by an independent person who has no connection to the promoter. Each person can win only one prize.
  8. Winners. Winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw. To claim, a winner must reply within 14 days and may be asked to confirm their age and that they live in South Africa. A prize that is not claimed in time, or a winner who is not eligible, forfeits the prize, and a new winner is drawn in the same way. Vouchers are sent by email within 14 days of a valid claim.
  9. Publicity. Winners will not be named publicly without their consent.
  10. Your information. Details given in the form are used to run the draw and to contact winners, as set out in our privacy notice.
  11. Records. The promoter keeps records of the draw for 3 years.
